The word Sariwa means Fresh
in the Tagalog language of the Philippines.
The Philippines is the historical and cultural "melting pot"
of Asia. Its roots are Malay and Polynesian. It gets it's Western
influences from Spain (Spain occupied the Philippines as a colony
for 350 years) and its Asian influences from China, India and Japan.
Philippine language, cuisine and traditions are a unique combination
of these cultures.
